iQ3 Customer success story

One of Queensland’s largest resort organisations engaged iQ3 as they were looking for a specialized IT infrastructure partner who could deliver a solution to address their primary needs as well as provide guidance and planning around their desire to transition to a new model for consuming and delivering IT services in the future.

Client challenges

The client had been experiencing an underperforming and over provisioned environment which also required significant management overheads to operate on a daily basis. They operate a number of point of sale solutions that require real time performance and transactional integrity.

Solution delivered

iQ3 reduced their provisioned storage from 8.3 TB to 2 TB by implementing an EMC XtremIO Inline Data Services solution. Once the data was migrated to the new platform, the client experienced improved performance by 20 x and gained a data centre space reduction of 3x.
The iQ3 team designed the solution through workshops with the client, performed the installation, implementation and data migration as part of the project.
