Well, it’s been a while, but it was a brisk morning in Brisbane for the start of our Breakfast Seminar on Software Defined Infrastructure and how it enables the Hybrid cloud. The Hilton put on another pleasing warm breakfast, in a prime central location, enjoyed by all.
Andy Jones from iQ3 QLD opened the morning with an intro on iQ3 Capability followed by a technical insight into Software Defined Networking by VMware’s Bruce Perram, who discussed VMware’s NSX technology and how it enabled workload migration, particularly important for Disaster Recovery.
Spencer Lail from Brocade continued the Hybrid Cloud theme with further understanding into Hyper Converged Infrastructure and Brocades Intelligent Switching technology and how Software Defined Environments should be Simple, Flexible and Automated.
After the main presentations, delegates lingered enjoying more coffee and networking amongst other industry IT professionals. Most discussions were centred on the benefits of hybrid cloud for enterprise. Overall an informative and interesting way to kick start the day.
We hope you all enjoyed the morning and we hope to be in touch soon.
