Gladstone Area Water Board (GAWB) identified that it required a new approach to its current IT solution and so sought responses from capable providers before going to market through a public tender process which iQ3 responded to.
iQ3 approached GAWB proposing their Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solution delivered from their private cloud to support the board’s expanding requirements. This entailed a re-design of the existing architecture to ensure GAWB’s critical data and systems would be housed in enterprise grade data centres and run on enterprise grade infrastructure. iQ3 were successful in their approach and have been awarded the project by GAWB. The solution includes, new network connections, migration of workloads to the iQ3 private cloud environment (IaaS) in Tier 3 data centres with ongoing management of the full solution.
In addition to the improved financial position, one of the key benefits provided by the iQ3 solution was that it addressed all the requirements outlined by GAWB and was also delivered as a full turnkey solution. GAWB is now be able to focus more resources on key deliverables and support to the community in Gladstone, knowing that their IT infrastructure and networks are being monitored and managed by the specialist team at iQ3.
